The gritty version of the Cú Chulainn legend
I enjoy Irish myths and legends and what I liked about this was it was the familiar story of Cú Chulainn but told in a completely original way. All the politics and the action is very realistic, not at all magical. It’s the grim and dirty version, as if Cú Chulainn was an historical person. Thoroughly enjoyable.
